Looking for a senior Java developer (consultant / possibly freelance) for Brussels based client.

Your role

The work of a Java developer starts with the concept phase: you have to think together with the brand and the team about the most effective way to be able to provide our information to our users.

You should contribute to a “future-proof” solution and architecture, using our core content tools (Adobe Experience Manager) and knowing how to pass this on to our various front-end solutions in a high-performance manner.

You will look for a creative interpretation of the predetermined objectives. But as part of the product team, you are just as expected to introduce your own ideas that can bring value to the user, and you also keep a finger on the pulse when it comes to new (technological) evolutions, in order to uncover new opportunities that can add value to brands and users. As a Inquisitive developer who knows how to tackle things.

As a senior Java developer, below are the man responsibility

• You should have importance to quality and you have a great sense of responsibility.
• You should have well skilled and willing to learn, following the technological evolution is a natural reflex for you.
• You should know exactly which trends are taking place in front-end development, and are happy to work with them.
• You  should have team spirit, and you should know how to integrate and identify with the objectives of the VRT. in a Scrum team and you can quickly adapt to changing business needs.
• You should have demonstrable experience (3 to 5 years) with Java, Spring boot / MVC, Git and Jira, Unit Testing (Junit, Mockito, ..) 
• You should have knowledge on AWS Cloud front, cloud formation, beanstalk, elastic search Pipelines (Jenkins, Bitrise), AWS Lambdas etc.
• You also have knowledge or interest in: AEM development, Node.JS, AWS Server less programming (Quarkus) etc.
